PVC Pipe and Fitting expert in a construction litigation. The project was to build a state of the art elephant exhibit for the Denver Zoo.

Review and report on multiple piping failures in large scale water treatment plant. Follow up included providing training and oversight of repairs. Trained and observed crew in solvent welding PVC piping up to 20-inch diameter.

Develop a technical publication for the Plastic Pipe and Fittings Association. This booklet is available from the PPFA and is used to illustrate the cause and prevention of PVC pipe and fitting failures.

PVC product liability expert. Acted as a defendant expert in a litigation based on the failure of a PVC valve and resultant damage to complainants property.
Gilroy School - Gilbane Construction

Evaluate the cause of continued failures of a sport field irrigation system. Worked with Contractor and the system designer to resolve the problem and make system changes.
Fresno vs. KMD/Boro

Retained as a PVC piping expert to evaluate the cause of failures within the pipe and fittings in a PVC irrigation system at the Fresno County Juvenile Justice Campus.
Mozingo Construction - California Health Care Facility

Trained installation crew to properly solvent weld large diameter Schedule 80 (16-inch) PVC system. Prior to my tutelage they had multiple failure or leakage problems. Afterwards, they have been able to assemble, test and have their systems accepted.
Jamestown Golf Course

The course has suffered multiple joint failures for two of years after an irrigation system remodel. A with a visit to the facility, analysis of failure samples, discussions with the designer, owner, and contractor we were able pinpointed the cause.

Analyzed layout drawings, thermographic and pressure test reports, along with AS/NZ standards to help determine the cause of gasket joint leaks for Skellerup Rubber Products Ltd. of New Zealand.
Cleveland National Forest
Janurary 2017
Evaluation of hydraulic characteristics developed within a system consisting of
a storage tank and two interconnected pipelines
in the Cleveland National Forest. Expert4PVC Consulting was asked to check the potential for water hammer within these lines.
Delk vs. Smith

Using cell tower signals, Google map information, discussion with the grove manager we were able to determine the hydrualic parameters of the system. The routing of the pipeline was to provide water from a municipal water tower to an avocado grove about 2270 feet away and roughly 350 feet lower in altitude.
